Prairie Retreat is a 160 acre farm with vegetable and flower gardens, trees, fields, and the prairie wind. The tame cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and guinea fowl provide a preview to the abundant wildlife here. We are located in the middle of the North American flyway for migratory waterfowl providing awesome displays of wild game in spring and fall.

Centrally located in Eastern South Dakota, Prairie Retreat is an ideal meeting place for business or church retreats or family reunions. We provide quiet surroundings for individual, personal or group retreats. We offer a unique change for hunters and a look at real life in the Dakotas for tourists.

Prairie Retreat is a place to enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings, to rest and find spiritual renewal in the midst of today's hectic, high-pressure society.
